Kabosu, the face behind the famous Shibu Inu and ‘Doge meme’ passed away on May 24. Her owner Atsuko Sato informed about the demise , stating that Kabosu fell into a deep sleep at around 7.50 am on May 24.
Since the beginning of 2022, Kabosu had been diagnosed with cholangiohepatitis and chronic lymphoma leukemia.
A farewell party has been organized to mark the occasion and celebrate Kabosu at Flower Kaori in Narita, from 1-4 pm for her well wishers.
