We recently visited Egypt in Sept’24 and were spell bound by the rich history and the everstanding monuments depicting the rich culture and science of Ancient Egyptians.
While planning the trip, the only thought and curiousity was about the Pyramids. But the trip unravelled and fair to say, raised up so many new questions about the history; it has been a hard time to fathom what we saw, heard and touched. To say, the ancient Egyptians were rich would be wrong – they were wealthy in terms of science, engineering, medical science, architechture.
We covered around 5 cities in 9 days – Giza, Alexandria, Luxor, Hurghada and Cairo and are still left with half the other side of Egypt to be covered.
Would have preferred a longer stay for even covering these 5 cities – such is the grandeur of everything that exists and the history associated with it. I think I might have visited the land of the aliens.
